Save the last Beer

I live in this old-fashioned building in Munich now, where the toilets of each flat are located outside of the flat in the staircase. Some call it "Berlin style toilets"; sound much more fashionable. Either way, my smart neighbour made sure to take the all important Munich brewed beer with him on the way to the cold, far away "stilles Oertchen"...

Late Nite Type Ride...

...through Kreuzberg. 'Ride' as in 'walk' sounding nicer.

'Abrupt/sudden'.

'Nana'.

Nice communication between 3 graffiti writers. Difficult to spot but the dog actually says 'first', the girl goes 'second', the bear-like creature says 'third'.

Find the nine.

Ceiling lights at Farbfernseher. Somehow letter-like, too.

Not really type, but still pretty.

No idea what this is.

Eine Reise zum Hamburger Bahnhof...

...a trip to Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin's museum for contemporary art.
We were standing on the bridge just before the main building, and these huge sheets of ice were floating past underneath us...at low speed...like a message from spring...winter's over!
Then we met a couple of abandoned Ugg Boots. Not too much of a surprise considering how ugg-ly they are.

The museum is free on a thursday afternoon and there is some great contemporary and modern art on display. I loved the Marx collection including Warhol, Rauschenberg and lots of Cy Twombly's messy paintings. The bookstore is great, too, with a dangerously large amount of very low-priced books!
